Luke Chasse is a passionate advocate for individuals with hemophilia and a dedicated leader in the camp community. With a master’s degree from the University of Guelph and a personal experience of living with Severe Hemophilia A, Luke brings a deep understanding of the challenges faced by hemophiliacs and a strong commitment to improving their quality of life.
Luke’s journey with hemophilia has shaped his perspective and instilled in him a profound appreciation for the opportunities that have come his way. Growing up, he felt the weight of being different from his peers, as hemophilia was a part of his daily life. However, one remarkable aspect made a significant difference: overnight summer camp. Luke had the privilege of attending Camp Wanakita, where he discovered a transformative environment that fostered personal growth, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
As the Program Manager at Hemophilia Ontario, Luke brings his personal passion and firsthand knowledge to create unforgettable experiences for individuals with hemophilia. He is dedicated to ensuring that every participant feels safe, empowered, and inspired. With his expertise in program development, his ability to foster inclusive environments, and his unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, Luke looks forward to enriching the lives of hemophiliacs through the power of camp.
