Community Days
Hemophilia Ontario offers several community days each year so that people living with bleeding disorders can come together as a community, get to know each other and support each other through shared experience.

Annual Women With Bleeding Disorder Days
Women With Bleeding Disorders has become a major priority for Hemophilia Ontario. We want to be part of a movement that informs, educates and supports women with bleeding disorders whether you are a carrier of Hemophilia, living with von Willebrands Disease or managing platelet function disorders.
Every year we offer a day dedicated to women with bleeding disorders to come together and learn about their disorder.

Camps
Living with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders means people often live with physical activity restrictions, which can be quite difficult. Exclusion from many everyday activities or popular sports where friends and family participate throughout the year results, in many cases, in social isolation and low self- esteem.
This is why our camp programs are so important to our community. Our Camps include: YMCA Camp Wanakita, Community Camp Weekend, Pinecrest Adventures Camp, Just the Dads Weekend, Thunder Bay Family Camp, and Just the Guys and a Few Gals Weekend.

Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available to Hemophilia Ontario members who demonstrate need with expenses incurred in the care, treatment, or prevention of a bleeding disorder.
Requests must demonstrate they are directly related to a bleeding disorder, and may require support from the applicant’s HTC team in some cases.
