In Our Blood

Everyone’s experience with a bleeding disorder is different — and every story matters.

The hemophilia and bleeding disorders community is made up of individuals, families, caregivers, partners, and parents, all navigating life in their own way. Some stories are about diagnosis and learning. Others are about growth, uncertainty, resilience, or simply day-to-day life.

These stories may reflect on living with a bleeding disorder, parenting a child with one, navigating school or work, facing unexpected challenges, or learning how to move forward after difficult moments. Some are deeply personal. Others are simple introductions or reflections. All are shared with honesty and intention.

There is no single way to tell a story here. Submissions may be short or long, informal or reflective. What matters most is authenticity.

Our hope is that by sharing these experiences, members can see themselves reflected in one another and feel less alone.
