Experience Camp Together
Curious about Wanakita Summer Camp? Community Camp is the perfect opportunity for your family to experience everything camp has to offer before sending your child to camp independently.
Join Hemophilia Ontario for a weekend of connection, learning, adventure, and community at Wanakita. Whether you are new to our community or have been involved for years, Community Camp offers a unique chance to experience camp as a family while building relationships that last long after the weekend ends.
For many families, Wanakita Summer Camp is a milestone experience. Community Camp allows parents, children, and caregivers to explore camp together, meet staff and volunteers, and gain a better understanding of the programs that make Wanakita such a special place.
During the weekend, you will:
- Experience Wanakita’s beautiful waterfront and outdoor facilities
- Stay together as a family in your own cabin
- Meet other families who will be attending Wanakita Summer Camp
- Connect with experienced camp families and mentors
- Participate in educational sessions designed for our bleeding disorders community
- Enjoy camp activities, games, and outdoor adventures together
- Learn more about Hemophilia Ontario programs and services
- Build friendships and connections with people who understand your family’s journey
