Help Send a Child to Camp – One Step at a Time
This year, we’re walking with purpose. On June 27, we invite you to join us in turning camp dreams into reality for children living with bleeding disorders—kids who often face challenges far beyond those of their peers.
For more than 30 years, we’ve witnessed the life-changing impact of camp. It’s more than just a week away—it’s a place where children build confidence, discover independence, and form lifelong friendships. Parents often share how their children return home transformed: more empowered, more joyful, and truly themselves.
But camp is a privilege—and for many families, it remains out of reach.
Together, we can change that.
Last year, thanks to supporters like you, we raised over $5,000 and helped send more than five children to camp. This year let’s go even further. Let’s give more kids the chance to experience campfires, late-night laughter, and a safe, welcoming space where they can simply be kids.
Join the Walk for Camp
Whether you participate in person or virtually, every step you take brings a child closer to camp.
All adult participants are required to raise a minimum of $200, in addition to a $50 registration fee, before the day of the walk to attend in person. Groups of four adults are asked to raise a minimum of $600, plus a $100 registration fee. If the required fundraising amount hasn’t been reached before the event, Hemophilia Ontario will contact you or your team to arrange payment of the remaining balance by credit card by Wednesday, June 24.
Your fundraising contribution for the in-person walk also includes a barbecue lunch, high-quality event merchandise for participants aged 18 and older, access to prize draws, and full-day admission to the Toronto Zoo.

Fundraising Minimums
- Individual: $200
- Group of 4: $600
Please note that you are required to raise your fundraising minimums in order to participate. If you are unable to raise the minimum amount outlined above, then you are responsible for paying the difference.
