Hemophilia Ontario has been approved by the City of Thunder Bay to operate a bingo at Superior Shores Gaming, 435 Memorial Avenue, Thunder Bay. We are looking for volunteers to represent Hemophilia Ontario during our assigned sessions. At this time we don’t have our assigned day and time to be at the hall but the hall will work with us to assign a time and day that works for the volunteers we have willing to participate. The bingo hall operates on the c-gaming or electronic gaming model which means our bingo volunteers now are only required to be at the hall for 2 hours and they no longer handle cash or sell bingo cards. If you can give us 2 hours per month to volunteer at our bingo session we would be grateful! The bingo hall volunteers will be responsible for:
- representing Hemophilia Ontario
- welcoming guests and circulating the hall to thank players for supporting your charity
- assist with light cleaning of high touch surfaces
- An online training session must be completed before attending
Volunteers will be provided a Hemophilia Ontario golf shirt to wear during volunteer hours.
The funds raised at the bingo will support the following programs in the Thunder Bay area:
Program costs
- Financial assistance
- Medical research within Ontario
- Costs related to the delivery of Hemophilia Ontario programs and services
If you are interested in volunteering or you have some questions, please contact Susan Turner at sturner@hemophilia.on.ca
