Everton Jamie Caine currently serves as the secretary for Hemophilia Ontario. He is pursuing a Master’s of Teaching at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, building upon his Honours Bachelor of Child & Youth Care and an Advanced Diploma in the same field. With over 8 years of dedicated service to youth and young adult populations in educational and community-based settings, Everton is deeply committed to fostering inclusivity and empowerment.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Everton is employed in the mental health field and serves as a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Consultant. Notably, he was honored with The John Plater Scholarship in 2022. Everton’s dedication to Hemophilia Ontario spans over two decades, during which he actively participated in community events such as the Zoo Walk and Camp Wanakita.
As a fervent advocate for mental health, Everton endeavors to enrich mental health programming and awareness within Hemophilia Ontario. Outside of his board responsibilities, he finds joy in spending quality time with family, playing basketball, and kayaking.
